Welcome to Cliffsceltic.co.uk

Cliffsceltic.co.uk is here to provide a wide range of products, services,
information and  entertainment.
On this site you will find my range of  hand made crystal jewellery and crafts, made from  home-grown crystals, which is completely unique, and is the reason why I began this adventure. You can see
what I do at
Cliff's Celtic Crystals.

In order to make this page more user friendly, more flexible, and easier to read,
you can scroll on the box below to read more of what my site is all about, and my intentions.
This will show you what to expect, and what you will and will not find here.

I have just found a site that is listing over 3700 websites to avoid because their only purpose is to rip you off! I'm sad to say that that list is only going to get bigger in the future. You can visit the site by clicking here. They also have a software tool called Site hound which you can purchase to block known rip off sites from being visited for your protection and is probably an excellent tool if you do a lot of shopping on line.

A few things to look for before even considering making an on-line purchase.

  1. Check their contact details! If they use an email address that says @Hotmail, Yahoo,163, etc. Scam! These are all free email services and a  professional organisation would use an email address that at least corresponds to the website, such as something@cliffsceltic.co.uk. Also the contact phone number,if it says something like Tel: 86 010 12345678 Scam!
  2. Do they accept credit cards? If not then, 99.99% chance Scam! There may be the odd start-up business that hasn't got their head around how to set up a free account with a service like Pay Pal, but if they don't accept credit cards they can not be trusted. You are protected from fraudulent purchases on-line by your credit card, and frankly, if you don't have a credit or debit card, you should not be shopping on-line anyway!
  3. Confirmation of order! If you do not receive a confirmation of your purchase within 24 hours Scam! Any reputable business will send a confirmation email as soon as the purchase is confirmed. This normally happens within minutes with auto responders but due to variables such as excessive traffic, or a site being temporarily down, then at least start to worry if you haven't received confirmation within 24 hours and check into the problem. If you can not contact the site and receive a satisfactory explanation then cancel your transaction. It's far better to be slightly disappointed that you aren't going to get that "special gift" that you thought would be perfect for you or a loved one, than to have spent your money, and receive nothing!
I hope this information is helpful to you. Whether you decide to purchase Site hound or not, I would be interested in your comments. If you already have this software I would be interested in your comments also.
If you sign my guest book with your comments, then all of my visitors will be able to view your comments.
If you would prefer to discuss something in more detail which you would rather not be published contact me here.

Constructive criticism is welcome. I have a thick skin, I'm too old now to be easily offended.
Since I want this to be a site that everyone can enjoy and tell their friends about, the chances are that if you weren't happy, you probably aren't the only one.
Thank you for visiting.  I hope you will return.
